Kevin Fitzgerald

Kevin Fitzgerald has a strong background in maintenance and calibration in the pharmaceutical industry. Kevin started their career as an E&I Technician at JRE Group in 2006 and worked there until 2009. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an E&I Technician at Suir Engineering and was contracted into MSD, where they performed calibrations and provided training. Kevin then joined MSD Carlow in 2012 as a Maintenance/Production Tech, responsible for maintenance, calibration, and operation of various equipment. Kevin then worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as a Process Maintenance Technician III, specializing in the maintenance of biopharmaceutical process trains. Kevin joined Amneal Pharmaceuticals in 2016 as a Senior Maintenance Technician and Calibration Lead, overseeing production and facility calibrations. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Sanofi Genzyme as a Fill Finish Maintenance Technician, handling the maintenance of component prep, formulation, vial fill, lyophilization, and inspection equipment. Kevin'smost recent position was as an Instrument Technician at Specialist Technical Services (STS Group) from 2019 to 2020, where they performed calibrations on a wide range of equipment. Kevin is currently working as a Lead Maintenance Technician at West Pharmaceutical Services.

Kevin Fitzgerald has a Certificate in Sterile Operations from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Level 6 degree in Electrical and Instrument from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, from 2006 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as acoustic imaging, digital multimeter, insulation resistance testing, electrical measurement safety, and internal auditing.
