Menaka Abeygunawardena

Menaka Abeygunawardena possesses extensive experience in materials development and packaging engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at West Pharmaceutical Services since June 2017, focusing on applied research and technology scouting. Prior roles include Packaging Engineer positions at GSK and Fres-co System USA, Inc., as well as a Project Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Menaka’s career began as a Technical Assistant at Dow Chemical, following a summer internship in R&D at Scientific Design Company. Educationally, Menaka holds a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
