Nigel Pinto

Nigel Pinto serves as the R&D Director of Product Development & Sustainment Engineering and Pilot Plant at West Pharmaceutical Services since January 2016. Pinto has successfully led initiatives in modular automation equipment, enhancing the scalability and cost-effectiveness of medical device manufacturing. Significant achievements include overseeing the implementation of a $15MM capital investment, which generated over $100MM in incremental revenue, and efficiently managing a team of over 70 colleagues to double production rates. With extensive experience in product value stream management and engineering projects, Pinto has contributed to substantial process improvements and operational excellence. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and current enrollment in a Doctorate program in Business Administration and Management at the University of Phoenix.
