Vivek Bhatnagar

Vivek Bhatnagar is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of R&D for Advanced Therapies at West Pharmaceutical Services since July 2022. In this role, Vivek focuses on developing containment solutions for cell and gene therapy applications, addressing business needs, and managing a team of innovators for rapid commercialization of advanced therapies. Prior to this, Vivek held various leadership roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals from February 2014 to July 2022, including Director of Biopharm R&D, where responsibilities involved leading teams in process development and technology transfer for biopharmaceuticals. Earlier experience includes roles at Amgen, GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, and Shire Biologics, with a solid foundation in chemical and biochemical engineering, holding a Master’s degree from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an M Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
