Cathy Anderko has a significant amount of experience in the field of medical and health physics. Cathy started their career at Geisinger Health System in 1990, where they served as the Director of Medical Health Physics and Radiation Safety Officer until 2008. Cathy then joined West Physics Consulting in 2009, initially working as a Senior Medical and Health Physicist. In 2014, they became the Chief Medical Physicist, Senior Health Physicist, and Director of Industrial Operations at West Physics Consulting. In 2015, they worked at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center as the Radiation Safety Officer and Medical Physicist on a contractual basis. In 2016, they became the Vice President of Health Physics and Radiation Safety at West Physics Consulting. Cathy also had a role as the Radiation Safety Officer at the University of New Mexico from 2012 to 2014, and later served as the Radiation Safety Officer for a 1.5-year assignment at the university from 2019 to 2020. Overall, Cathy Anderko has a wealth of experience in various roles related to medical and health physics.
Cathy Anderko completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Penn State University. Cathy later pursued a Master of Science degree in Medical and Health Physics, which they obtained from the University of Florida in 1988.
