Shawn Fiala

Shawn Fiala is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and labor relations. Currently serving as Human Resources Business Partner and Safety at West Plains LLC. since March 2023, Shawn previously worked as Human Resources Manager at Smithfield Foods, where management of HR functions supported a workforce of 900 employees. Shawn held the position of Director of Labor Relations at Ash Grove Cement Company from April 2012 to December 2022, providing guidance on contract interpretation and labor relations while fostering good employee relations. Earlier roles include Labor Relations Manager at Connectivity Solutions Manufacturing, where Shawn actively participated in collective bargaining, and Operations/Manufacturing Manager at both Connectivity Solutions Manufacturing and Lucent Technologies, responsible for production goals and export compliance. Shawn holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from The University of Arizona Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bellevue University, complemented by service in the U.S. Air Force from 1986 to 1992.
