Shane Williams

Shane Williams is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. since June 2023, Shane previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Skeena Resources Limited from March 2020 to June 2023. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Canada and Greece Operations at Eldorado Gold Corporation and General Manager of Expansion Projects at Rio Tinto, overseeing substantial capital expenditures for multiple projects. Shane has demonstrated leadership capabilities across various global operations and engineering projects, supported by a strong educational background, including an MSc in Project Management from the University of Limerick and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Technological University Dublin.
