David Urbanek

David Urbanek has extensive experience in safety, security, and law enforcement, currently serving as the Administrative Chief Safety Officer and Chief of Security for West Seneca Central School District since April 1988, overseeing safety operations. Urbanek held the position of Police Lieutenant with New York State University Police from January 1987 to May 2023, where notable roles included Past President and Executive Board Member of the Law Enforcement Training Directors Association of New York State. Urbanek has also served as a police instructor and evaluator since 1987 and has a solid background in emergency medical services, having been a New York State Emergency Medical Technician and instructor since 1978. Prior experience includes being a therapist at Bry-Lin Hospital from 1981 to 1987, providing therapeutic and educational programs for patients.
