AOG MRT Lead Aircraft Technician at West Star Aviation

Justin Goodwin has over 20 years of work experience in the aviation industry. Justin is currently working as an AOG MRT Lead Aircraft Technician at West Star Aviation Inc. Since joining in February 2017, they have been dedicated to helping others succeed. Prior to that, Justin worked at Haggan Aviation as a Lead Aircraft Technician for 17 years. Before that, they served as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at International Jet Aviation Services, where they were responsible for night time/weekend shift operations. Justin also worked as a Systems Mechanic at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems and as a Flight Line Tech at Denver Air Center.

Justin Goodwin has a diverse education history. Justin completed advanced training in Pratt and Whitney Jet Engines at Pratt and Whitney in 2009 and in Honeywell turbines at Honeywell in 2002. Justin also received training in Bombardier at Global Jet Services in 2012, and in airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance technology at CAE Simuflite in 2005.

In 2010, Justin pursued a different field of study and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. Alongside their degree, they acquired RVSM training in aircraft powerplant technology/technician at Global Jet Services in 2005. Additionally, they received software training in DEEC at Honeywell in 2002.

Justin's earlier education includes a degree in systems and structures from Northrop Grumman U.S.A.F. in 1999, as well as an Associate of Occupational Science degree from Westwood College - Denver North in Aviation in 1998. Justin has also earned certifications from the United States Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration and an A&P certification from USDOT.
