West Suburban Special Recreation Association
Megan Foster is a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at West Suburban Special Recreation Association since 2006, leading recreational programs for individuals with disabilities. Megan also worked as a Personal Trainer at FootSteps at FlipSide, Anytime Fitness, and West Cook YMCA. Megan holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from DePaul University, a Certification in Personal Training from Triton College, and is currently pursuing a Certificate of higher education in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy at the State University of New York Cortland.

The mission of the West Suburban Special Recreation Association is to provide superior recreation services for persons with disabilities. The West Suburban Special Recreation Association is formed by 9 park districts and 2 villages who work together to serve the recreation needs of their residents who have disabilities.Through WSSRA, residents of all ages can participate in year round programming specifically designed to meet their individual needs. Residents of partner communities who have a disability or handicapping condition are eligible for WSSRA services.
