Programme Lead Engineering/ Automotive at West Suffolk College

Alex Ford has a diverse work experience, starting as a Motor Vehicle Technician at Stannard Motors from 2003 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Tootega Kayaks from 2012 to 2017, where they were responsible for maintaining kayak mould tools and ensuring machinery and control systems operated smoothly. Following this, Alex served as a Freelance Photographer at Alex Ford Photography from 2016 till now, specializing in various photography styles. Alex then joined West Suffolk College in 2017, initially as a Workbased learning co-ordinator, and later became the Programme Lead for Engineering/Automotive. Currently, they are the Program Lead at Eastern Education Group, starting in 2022.
