Jessie Campbell

Jessie Campbell, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in the field of accounting. They started their career as a Senior Accountant at Jaynes, Reitmeier, Boyd, and Therrell P.C., where they specialized in preparing and filing federal tax returns for businesses, individuals, and non-profits. After working there for two years, they joined Baylor University as an Athletic Staff Accountant, responsible for the accounting and analyses of the athletic department. In this role, they assisted with month and year-end closing processes, annual budget preparation, and the preparation of financial statements and reports required by the NCAA. Subsequently, Jessie became the Senior Accountant of Capital Projects/Property Plant and Equipment at Baylor University, where they provided accounting, reporting, and analysis support for capital projects, debt, and other related areas. Currently, Jessie holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at West Texas Centers, a role they assumed in March 2017. Prior to becoming the CFO, Jessie served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and earlier as the Chief Accountant. As the Chief Accountant, they performed advanced financial and cost accounting work, including budget development, establishment and maintenance of accounting systems, and financial analysis and reporting. Throughout their career, Jessie has demonstrated expertise in financial and cost accounting, taxation, and financial analysis.

In 2003, Jessie enrolled at Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business and pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting. This four-year program provided the foundational knowledge and skills needed for a career in the field. After successfully completing the undergraduate program in 2007, Jessie continued their education at the same institution and specialized in taxation. Jessie obtained a Master of Taxation degree in 2007, further honing their expertise in the accounting field. These educational achievements, combined with their professional experience, contribute to Jessie's qualifications as a certified public accountant (CPA).
