Susie Garrison

Susie Garrison is an experienced educator and coordinator currently serving as the Coordinator for ELA 6-12 Office of PK-12 Academic Support at the West Virginia Department of Education since September 2022. In addition, Susie holds a position as an Adjunct Professor of English at the University of Charleston since August 2019 and previously worked as an Adjunct Professor at Marshall University Graduate College from January 2014 to October 2022. Prior experience includes over 15 years as an English teacher and Curriculum Leader at Capital High School within Kanawha County Schools. Susie Garrison holds a Master’s degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Marshall University Graduate College and a Bachelor's degree in English Writing from West Virginia State College.
