Matt Turner

Matt Turner currently serves as the Executive Vice Chancellor for Administration at the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, a position held since 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing operational functions and acting as the primary intergovernmental affairs liaison. Prior experience includes roles as Chief of Staff in the President's Office at Marshall University, Director of Communications for the West Virginia Governor's Office under Joe Manchin III, Media Manager for the West Virginia Division of Tourism, and various communication positions in both the public and private sectors, including the West Virginia Department of Commerce and Inco Alloys International. Matt Turner holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Public Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, both obtained from Marshall University.
