Trey Jones

Trey Jones is an experienced professional in university advancement and corporate relations, currently serving as the Vice President for University Advancement and President of the WVSU Foundation at West Virginia State University since July 2021. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President for University Advancement and Vice President of the WVSU Foundation, as well as Executive Director of Corporation and Foundation Relations. Trey also worked as the Collegiate & Sports Sales Manager at The Sheraton Raleigh Hotel and served as Operations Manager at Crothall Healthcare. Early career experience includes the position of Head Student Manager for Men's Basketball at NC State University and an internship with The V Foundation. Trey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from North Carolina State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Murray State University.
