Rahat Akhtar

Rahat Akhtar is a seasoned technology services professional with extensive experience in IT service management and support. Currently serving as the DTS Service Delivery Manager at West Yorkshire Combined Authority since June 2017, Rahat leads the delivery of technology services, ensuring adherence to the ITIL Service Management framework and overseeing the development of the DTS Service Catalogue. Previously, Rahat held several positions at EMIS Health, culminating in the role of Support Team Manager, where responsibilities included managing a team of 15 consultants and ensuring optimal service delivery. Complementing this experience, Rahat also worked at Kirklees Council as a Junior IT Consultant, providing first-line IT support. Rahat holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computing in Business from The University of Huddersfield.
