Mark Higginbottom

Mark Higginbottom currently serves as an Associate Trainer at the City of London Police Economic & Cyber Crime Academy since January 2024. With extensive experience in law enforcement, Mark has been an Accredited Counter Fraud Manager and trained in Bribery & Corruption with West Yorkshire Police since March 2019. Prior to this role, Mark held positions as an Accredited Serious Fraud Investigator and Economic Crime Unit Investigator at UKPPS from January 2017 to March 2019, where responsibilities included managing serious risks to life. Mark's law enforcement career began with West Yorkshire Police in October 1995, progressing from Police Constable to Detective Sergeant, focusing on serious and complex crime investigations, and serving as a Level 1 Surveillance Operative.
