Mike Ford

Mike Ford is an experienced professional in audit and finance, currently serving as Joint Independent Audit Committee Chair for both West Yorkshire Combined Authority and West Yorkshire Police, as well as Senior Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Previously, Mike held various senior roles at the BBC from 2006 to 2019, including Head of Business Systems, where responsibilities included overseeing enterprise-wide finance and procurement systems and leading significant improvement projects. Mike's earlier experience includes positions at West Coast Capital, Arcadia Group Ltd, Burton Group plc, and Arthur Young, where key accomplishments encompassed project management, financial oversight, and the establishment of shared service centers. Mike holds a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.
