Julie Morris, Ed.D., currently serves as a Certified Executive Coach and Professional Learning Specialist at West 40 Intermediate Service Center No. 2, where responsibilities include developing coaching programs for district and school administrators to foster equitable systems focused on student achievement. Previously, Julie held the role of Superintendent of Schools at Harlem Consolidated School District #122, overseeing a $90 million budget and leadership for 6,400 students. Julie also served as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, managing educational programs and a staff of over 1,000. Earlier career experience includes positions as Associate/Assistant Principal at Hononegah Community High School and as Assistant Principal and Teacher at East Aurora School District 131. Julie holds a Doctor of Education and a Master of Science in Education Administration from Northern Illinois University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

West 40 Intermediate Service Center #2 is part of Illinois' network of regional education agencies supporting public schools and districts in the western Cook County suburbs. We provide support by working alongside educators, administrators, families, and the communities, to ensure every student has a chance for success and have every opportunity to become who they are meant to be. Services include teacher and administrator professional development, alternative learning centers, school improvement planning support, and assistance with implementing governmental policies and initiatives.
