Barney Evans

Barney Evans is a skilled Deck Engineer at Westar Marine Services since February 2020, responsible for training new deckhands, managing warehouse inventory, and assisting in crew changes. Concurrently, Barney serves as the Associate Head Coach for varsity and junior varsity baseball at San Francisco University High School, where game schedules and practice plans are developed. Additionally, as a Partner/Coach with Cardinal Baseball Camps since 2013, Barney coordinates game strategies and maintains knowledge of coaching techniques. With a history of coaching at various levels, including a notable role at Stanford Baseball Camp, Barney also achieved significant success as Head Coach for youth teams, winning championships and improving team performance. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Menlo College, along with studies at San Jose State University and an Associate of Arts degree from City College of San Francisco.
