Cindy Gruman serves as Vice President at Westat, focusing on research and evaluation to improve lives since December 2021. Previously, Cindy held the position of Vice President at The Lewin Group, managing projects related to aging and disability policy from November 2008 to December 2021. Cindy's extensive experience includes roles at Mathematica Policy Research as a Senior Researcher and at UConn Health as an Adjunct/Assistant Professor in the Center of Aging. Additionally, Cindy has contributed to the field through various leadership positions at Hartford Hospital's Braceland Center for Mental Health and Aging. Cindy's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Gerontology from UMass Boston, an M.B.A. from the University of Mary, two Master’s Degrees in Public Policy and Gerontology from UMass Boston and the University of Southern California, respectively, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota.
