Dean Nafziger

Dean Nafziger is an accomplished leader in the education sector with extensive experience in various executive roles. Currently serving as Vice President at Westat since 2016, Dean has previously held positions including CEO at Edvance Research, Inc. from 2004 to 2015, and President at Harcourt Assessment, Inc. from 2001 to 2003. Additional roles include Senior Vice President at Sylvan Learning and Sylvan Ventures (1998-2001), Executive Vice President at Educational Testing Service (1997-1998), and CEO at WestEd from 1986 to 1997. Dean Nafziger earned a Ph.D. from New Mexico State University between 1969 and 1972.
