Dennis Pickett

Dennis Pickett, CISSP, serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Westat since July 2012, where responsibilities include oversight of a $500MM security and privacy business, managing IT integration for mergers, and supervising a team of 15 information security professionals. In addition to this role, Dennis has been an Adjunct Professor at Montgomery College's Information Technology Institute since February 2016, teaching cyber security, cloud computing, and networking. Prior experience includes positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Dennis co-created the National Cancer Institute Enterprise Security Program, and worked as a Senior Associate and Lead Associate while managing significant budgets and teams across federal projects. Early career roles involved technical support and network engineering at ADP and PC Ed, Inc. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rutgers University.
