Marietta Bowman

Marietta Bowman is an accomplished research professional with extensive experience in survey data collection and social science research. Currently serving as a Principal Research Associate at Westat, Marietta leads complex projects that focus on diverse populations. Previous roles include Senior Study Director at Insight Policy Research and Senior Research Director at NORC at the University of Chicago, where Marietta designed and managed education policy and child development studies. Marietta's background also includes work with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, focusing on legislative initiatives, as well as advocacy and program planning roles in community service. Marietta holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Kalamazoo College.
