Robert Noiva serves as the NAEP 2024 Assessment Coordinator at Westat since September 2023, overseeing the largest national assessment of student knowledge in subjects such as civics, mathematics, and reading. Concurrently, Robert has held various academic leadership roles at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine since May 2010, including Adjunct Associate Professor of Foundational Medical Studies, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Community Integration, and Associate Dean for Medical Education. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Professor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. Robert Noiva earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Creighton University School of Medicine and conducted postdoctoral studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Michigan State University.
