Tom Krenzke

Vice President at Westat

Tom Krenzke has extensive experience in survey sampling and estimation techniques, and has led research in statistical confidentiality, sample design, non-probability sampling, small area estimation, variance estimation, imputation, and nonresponse bias. Prior to joining Westat, Krenzke worked at the U.S. Census Bureau.

Krenzke is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) and has held several positions in ASA, including chair of the ASA Committee on Privacy and Confidentiality and program chair of the Survey Research Methods Section. He has also served as President of the Washington Statistical Society. He leads Westat’s Steering Committee on WesDaX® (Westat’s real-time online table generator) and Westat’s Confidentiality Work Group and serves on the Westat Institutional Review Board.

In recognition of his contributions to the field, Krenzke has been named a Westat Senior Statistical Fellow and serves on the Statistical Fellows Committee, which provides consultation on important survey statistics issues and addresses recent advances in applied statistics.
