Veronica Nieva

Veronica Nieva currently serves as Project Director and Editor in Chief at The AHRQ Health Care Innovations Exchange since 2007, while also holding the position of Vice President at Westat since June 1981. Nieva's work involves managing and conducting health care research projects, emphasizing organizational culture, patient safety, and health care innovations. Previously, Nieva worked as a Research Associate at The Urban Institute from 1979 to 1981 and as a Senior Study Director at the Advanced Research Resources Organization from 1977 to 1979, focusing on social science research for various federal agencies. Educational credentials include a PhD in Psychology from the University of Michigan (1971-1976), an MA in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University (1969-1971), and a high school diploma from St. Scholastica's College (1961-1965).
