Walter Huston

Walter Huston is an experienced professional with a strong background in community development and public administration. Currently serving as a Traveling Field Interviewer at Westat since January 2023, Walter also works as a Consultant for Phoenix Development Consulting Corporation since June 2018, providing services such as grant writing, strategic planning, and organizational management. As Executive Director of Phoenix Project: Community Development Foundation, Inc. since May 1995, responsibilities include nonprofit program management and public liaison efforts. Previously, Walter managed operations at the Jefferson County - Fayette Farmers Market from December 2011 to March 2013 and served as a Land Use Planner for the City of Natchez, Mississippi, from April 2006 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in US History from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.
