Jon B.

Jon B. has extensive work experience in the purchasing and buying field. Jon started their career in 1999 as an Industrial Placement at Dawes Cycles Limited. From there, they worked as a Business Analyst at GIL Management Group Ltd. In 2003, they joined Home Retail Group PLC as an Assistant Buyer/Junior Buyer. Jon then moved on to Next Group PLC, where they worked as a Buyer in the Home Leisure & Electricals department. In 2010, Jon joined Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd as a Senior Buyer, responsible for the Electrical Consumables and Leisure categories. After five years at Sainsburys, they joined Jaguar Land Rover as a Global Strategic Senior Buyer, primarily focused on branded goods and special vehicle operations accessories. Most recently, Jon has been working at Westbury Street Holdings, where they started as a Senior Purchasing Manager and worked their way up to Head of Retail, Impulse & Beverages Purchasing before transitioning to their current role as Head of Wholesale Purchasing.

Jon B. started their education at Market Bosworth High School and Community College, where they completed their studies up to GCSE level. After that, they attended Bosworth College, Desford, where they pursued A-Levels in English Language, Mathematics, and Science, completing their studies in 1997.

From 1997 to 2001, Jon attended De Montfort University, where they completed a 4-Year Sandwich Course in Business Studies. Jon graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in the field.

Later, in 2006 and 2007, Jon attended Premier Training International to obtain an International Diploma in Fitness Instruction & Sports Massage Therapy. Jon focused on the field of Fitness Instruction & Sports Massage Therapy during their time at this institution.
