Gemma White

Gemma White serves as the Clinical Coordinator and AAC Expert in the Assistive Technology Department at the Westchester Institute For Human Development since October 2019, overseeing clinical operations and providing evaluations and treatments for AAC. With extensive experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, Gemma has provided evaluation and treatment for children with Autism, Feeding Difficulties, and Speech Sound Disorders since March 2009 through A Spoon Full of Sugar. Gemma has also contributed to the field as a conference speaker at various organizations, focusing on mobile technology and video-based interventions for Autism. With educational credentials including a BSc (Hons) in Speech Language Therapy from UCL and graduate study in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, Gemma combines advanced knowledge and practical experience in the domain of speech language pathology and assistive technology.
