Moriah Vernon

Moriah Vernon has a diverse work experience in various industries. Moriah began their career at the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee as a Retail Supervisor. Moriah then worked at Wilfrid Laurier University in multiple roles, including Council Chairperson, Referee In Chief, and Residence Life Don. Additionally, Moriah gained experience at Canuckstuff/Overkill as part of the Ontario Volleyball Association Events Team.

Moving forward, they joined the Toronto Blue Jays as a Fan Experience Game Day Crew member and later became a Fan Experience Game Day Coordinator. Moriah also worked at the Hockey Hall of Fame as a Guest Services Representative and MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership) as a Fan Engagement Representative and later as a Fan Engagement Team Lead.

In 2018, Moriah joined Seneca College as the Executive Director & Head Of Event Production for their Annual Virtual Conference. Moriah then joined Westcoast Connection, where they held various positions such as Program Leader, Program Director, Training Events Coordinator, Coordinator of Hiring, Training and Development, and Company Director. Their most recent role at Westcoast Connection is Assistant Director of Hiring, Training and Development.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University between 2013 and 2018. Additionally, Moriah obtained several certifications, including Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in March 2021, Market Research Foundations from LinkedIn in January 2021, and Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn in September 2020.
