Melissa Cotterill

Melissa Cotterill is an experienced communications executive currently serving as Executive Vice President at Westcomm since September 2016, where focus lies on strategic HR and benefits communication to enhance employee engagement. Prior to this role, Melissa held key positions at the University of Indianapolis as Executive Director of Marketing and Brand Services, leading marketing initiatives to boost enrollment and alumni engagement. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff at the Indy Chamber, and Interim President and CEO at Develop Indy, overseeing significant economic development projects. With an extensive background in marketing and communications, Melissa has also held leadership roles at Cassidy Turley, Aristokraft, and the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee. Melissa holds a BA in Journalism, Political Science, and Business from Franklin College.
