Amaal Awadalla

Amaal Awadalla, Ed.D, serves as a Senior State Technical Assistance Specialist at WestEd since May 2022 and as Adjunct Faculty at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania since August 2020. Amaal has extensive experience in educational leadership, having held the role of Assistant Superintendent at Fleetwood Area School District from July 2013 to May 2022 and Assistant Director of Curriculum at Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 from July 2007 to July 2013. Prior teaching positions include middle school science teacher roles at Saucon Valley School District, Bethlehem Area School District, and Valhalla Middle School, as well as a science teacher at the New York City Board of Education. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley University, various certifications from Lehigh University, and a Master's degree in Secondary Science Education from Lehman College. Amaal's educational foundation was established with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fordham University.
