Christopher Harris

Christopher Harris is a seasoned leader in science and engineering education research, currently serving as the Senior Director of Science and Engineering Education Research at WestEd since July 2018. Previously, Christopher held the position of Director of Science and Engineering Education Research at SRI International from 2009 to 2018, where leadership involved guiding a research group within the Center for Technology in Learning and contributing to strategic decision-making. Earlier roles included Senior Researcher and Researcher in Science Education at The University of Arizona, followed by an assistant professorship, and experience as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan. Christopher's educational background encompasses a Ph.D. and Master's degrees from the University of Michigan, a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree from Buffalo State University.
