Jenny Betz

Jenny Betz is a Senior Program Associate and School Climate Specialist at WestEd, focusing on enhancing school climate and wellness through engagement with schools and districts. As an independent consultant, Betz enhances the impact of nonprofit organizations by leveraging expertise in LGBTQ issues, social justice, and diversity and inclusion. Previously, Betz served as the Director of Education and Youth Programs at GLSEN, where efforts were directed towards creating safe environments for K-12 students. Betz has held various positions in organizations such as the International Bullying Prevention Association and the Anti-Defamation League, with a solid foundation in program management, staff development, and community outreach. Educational qualifications include an M.A. in Gender/Cultural Studies from Simmons University and a B.A. in English from Saint Mary's College of California.
