Kelsey Krausen

Kelsey Krausen, PhD, serves as the Director of Education Finance and Resource Planning at WestEd since September 2017, also taking on roles as Senior Engagement Manager and Senior Research Associate within the organization. With a rich background in educational research, Kelsey has been a Graduate Student Researcher for the Review of Research in Education at AERA since August 2011 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CAP-Ed/CISI from September 2012 to June 2019. Additionally, Kelsey held positions such as Assistant Director of Policy at the National Writing Project and Program Director at the Oakland Parents Literacy Project. Kelsey earned a Ph.D. in Education Policy & School Organization from the University of California, Davis, between 2010 and 2015, and a Master's in Public Administration from San Francisco State University from 2003 to 2007.
