Kevin MacPherson

Kevin Macpherson, PhD, is an Improvement Specialist at WestEd, a position held since May 2021. Prior to this role, Kevin served as Associate Director of Special Education for KIPP Public Schools Northern California and KIPP Bay Area Public Schools, contributing to special education initiatives from July 2015 to May 2021. Educational involvement includes graduate tutoring at the University of California, Berkeley, and various roles in special education and mental health settings, such as at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools and Claremont Autism Center. Kevin holds a PhD in Education from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's in Special Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College.
