Michelle Grant is an accomplished education leader with extensive experience in early childhood education and program development. As the Founder and Executive Director of I3 Institute since June 2014, Michelle has focused on innovative, relationship-based learning opportunities for educators. Additionally, as Co-Author at Design in Mind, Michelle contributes to solutions for complex educational challenges using design thinking frameworks. Michelle also leads the Center of Gravity, emphasizing Design Thinking and STEM education for K-8 students. With roles as an Instructor at San Francisco State University and a Research Associate at WestEd, Michelle has been active in professional development and research. Previous experience includes significant positions at Oakland and San Francisco Unified School Districts in early education coordination and instructional leadership. Michelle holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership in Early Childhood.
