Rajinder Gill

Rajinder Gill is a seasoned professional in educational and workforce development, currently serving as Program Manager for Economic Mobility, Postsecondary, & Workforce Systems at WestEd since February 2023. In this national leadership role, Rajinder contributes to research and services aimed at fostering a more equitable society. As the CEO of the Essential Skills Program since May 2020, Rajinder addresses the rapid shifts in the workplace due to global economic changes. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director and Co-Creator of New World of Work from January 2012 to April 2020, where Rajinder expanded a collaborative initiative across California Community Colleges to enhance employability skills. Additional roles entail program coordination and instruction in various educational settings, with a solid academic background including a Master's degree from Dominican University of California and studies at prestigious institutions like the University of Oxford and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
