Shannon Stackhouse

Shannon Stackhouse, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Associate at WestEd since January 2022, leading various research projects in collaboration with multiple educational organizations. Prior to this role, Shannon worked as a Research Associate at Schoolzilla, enhancing data-driven decision-making for educational districts, and as an Education Research Consultant for the Michigan Department of Education, where contributions included developing metrics for strategic initiatives and performing quantitative analyses for policy improvements. Additional experience includes a fellowship at Harvard University focused on data transformation in education, research roles at the University of Notre Dame and ASER Centre, and various positions in education policy analysis and support for state agencies. Shannon holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Master's in Education from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University.
