Jessica Gowans is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in accounting. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Western AgCredit since January 2021, Jessica has also held various roles within the organization, including Participation Accounting Team Lead and Staff Accountant. Prior to this, Jessica worked as a Receptionist at Countryside Animal Clinic from August 2013 to January 2021, and completed a Public Policy Internship at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association in early 2020. Additional experience includes working as a Regional Controller's Assistant at Leavitt Group and a Medical Assistant at Tooele Valley Urgent Care. Jessica holds multiple degrees from Southern Utah University, including a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Science in Accounting, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Jessica completed secondary education at Tooele High School.

Western AgCredit
Western AgCredit is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System established in 1916. Western AgCredit, ACA is made up of two subsidiaries, Western AgCredit, FLCA and Western AgCredit, PCA. These entities are collectively known as "the Association" and also referenced as simply "Western AgCredit." The Association is a member-owned cooperative that provides financially related services to agriculture. That's our only business! Western AgCredit is the leader within the agricultural finance industry throughout the entire state of Utah and in parts of Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona. We provide financing for real estate, livestock, equipment and operating expenses. At one location, a customer can obtain loans with maturities from three months to 30 years. Western AgCredit serves people involved in the business of agriculture, including: farmers, ranchers, nursery and greenhouse operators, forest products businesses, part-time farmers and agribusinesses. Western AgCredit is an independent, cooperative organization owned and controlled by the farmers and ranchers who borrow from it. A Board of Directors, elected from the member-borrowers along with two outside directors, is responsible for representing the best interests of the organization and its borrowers.
