Chrystal Dean

Chrystal Dean has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Portfolio Management at Western Area Power Administration since April 2010. In this executive role, Chrystal provides leadership in the transformation and integration strategy, overseeing portfolio and project management while collaborating with senior leadership on cross-agency initiatives. Previous positions at WAPA include roles as Power Marketing and Energy Services Specialist and CRSP Preschedule and Resources Supervisor, demonstrating expertise in resource coordination and energy marketing. Prior experience includes working at Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association as a Transmission Operations Assistant and Operator Trainee. Chrystal holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Wyoming and completed the Colorado Leadership and Development Program.
