E Lynn Burkett has a diverse work experience in the environmental and natural resources field. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Process Analyst for the US Forest Service. From 1996 to 1998, they served in a Communications role within the same organization. In 1998, they joined the Bureau of Land Management and held various positions, including CCS Coordinator/NFWF Liaison, CCS, NFWF and ARRA, and Rangeland Resources. In 2008, Burkett briefly worked as Ag, Land, and Wildlife for the Council on Environmental Quality and also served as the Past President of NCSAF for the Society of American Foresters. In 2012, they became the Lakeview District Manager for the Bureau of Land Management, overseeing a large area of land. From 2018 to 2020, Burkett worked as the R2 Director for Recreation, Lands, and Minerals for the U.S. Forest Service. Finally, in 2020, they joined the Western Area Power Administration as the Vice President of Natural Resources.
