Kevin Howard has a diversified and extensive work experience in the utilities industry. From December 2002 to January 2006, they served as the Eastern Colorado Maintenance Manager, overseeing power system maintenance activities. From January 2006 to November 2008, they worked as the Engineering and Construction Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region. Starting in November 2008, Kevin became the Vice President of Transmission System Asset Management, responsible for maintaining the reliability of the Rocky Mountain Regional power system infrastructure. In February 2014, they took on the role of Vice President of Operations, where they provided oversight and leadership for operational and engineering activities in the California transmission system. In July 2018, Kevin was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Kevin continued in this role until their retirement in March 2022. Kevin is interested in part-time consulting opportunities in the industry.

Kevin Howard attended Colorado State University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
