Wayne Icenhower Pe

Wayne Icenhower, PE, PMP, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and electrical engineering across multiple sectors, including power delivery and hydropower design. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Project Manager at the Western Area Power Administration since March 2016, Wayne manages significant projects such as the California-Oregon Transmission Project and oversees equipment upgrades. Previously, Wayne held leadership roles at HDR, including Senior Project Manager and Electrical Engineering Manager, where responsibilities encompassed team supervision, client relations, proposal creation, and quality assurance for various substation and hydropower projects. Earlier career experiences include roles at Integrated Engineers and Constructors, Calpine, and Texaco, with a focus on project engineering, control system maintenance, and engineering design. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston.
