Jan Pieterse

Jan Pieterse has over 20 years of work experience in the asset management industry. Jan started their career at WestLB Mellon Asset Management in 2000 as a Portfolio Manager. In 2006, they joined Western Asset Management as a Client Service Executive, where they served in various roles over the years. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Head of Consultant Relationships & Outsourced CIO, responsible for managing relationships with consultants and serving as an outsourced Chief Investment Officer. Since November 2017, they have been the Head of Corporate Distribution/LDI Solutions at Western Asset Management, overseeing corporate distribution and liability-driven investment solutions.

Jan Pieterse attended Louisiana State University from 1995 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Jan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southeastern Louisiana University between 1998 and 1999. Prior to that, Jan Pieterse studied at the University of the Free State from 1992 to 1994, specializing in Bachelor of Commerce Law. Additionally, they possibly attended Grey College, although no specific dates or degrees were provided.
