Randy Furtado

Randy Furtado has a comprehensive work experience in the technology sector. Randy began their career in 1994 as an Executive Director in Fixed Income Technology at CIBC World Markets, where they worked until 1999. Randy then joined UBS Investment Bank in 2002 as the Director of Fixed Income Technology, before moving to SAC Capital Advisors in 2004 as a Fixed Income/Murex Technology specialist. In 2009, Randy began working at Soros Fund Management in a similar role. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Technology Director at Pine River Capital Management. In 2016, Randy had a brief stint as an Independent Consultant, focusing on Murex Accounting module implementation and data warehouse design and architecture. Randy currently holds the position of Technology Manager at Western Asset Management since 2016.

Randy Furtado has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University. Randy also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
