Kristian Pisano has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Murdoch University. They have experience working as a Ticketing and Membership Officer, Assistant Supervisor, Visitor Services Officer, and on the Mount Making Team at the Western Australian Museum. They also danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet and West Australian Ballet. Kristian participated in the Pre-Professional Year program at Queensland Ballet and attended the New Zealand School of Dance. They completed their schooling at Perth Modern School.

Western Australian Museum
The Western Australian Museum was established in 1891 (as the ‘Perth Museum’) and its initial collections were of geological, ethnological and biological specimens. Indeed, it can claim to be one of the oldest scientific institutions in the State. In 1959, its botanical collection was transferred to the new Herbarium and it continued to concentrate on earth sciences and zoology.
