Dave Wiens

Dave Wiens is a resident of Gunnison, who currently serves as the Executive Director of the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA). He was the founder and director of both Gunnison Trails, Inc. and Western’s own Mountain Sports program. He has served on the USA Cycling Board of Directors and the boards of the National Off-Road Bicycling Association and the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. He is a proud 1990 graduate of Western and a decorated international mountain biker. He was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 2000. He holds several Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race titles, two of which were victories over Floyd Landis and Lance Armstrong.
