Shukan Shah

Shukan Shah is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in outreach, research, and healthcare. Serving as the Director of Outreach for Project RISHI at USC, Shukan redesigned social media strategies, significantly increased outreach, and initiated the South Asian Resource Center. As a Scientific Researcher at the University of California, Riverside under Dr. Louis Santiago, Shukan innovated methods for detecting cytorrhysis and became the youngest researcher to present at a significant conference in India. Shukan's experience also includes hands-on dental internships and leadership roles in various student organizations, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Education includes ongoing studies in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Riverside.
